Codebreaking at Cal is an introduction to the field of cryptography, the study of protecting secret information from being read by adversaries. Particular emphasis is given to real-world examples of breaking cryptography, as well as the mathematical foundations behind cryptographic primitives. We strongly prefer that you have completed CS 61A and CS 70 (or equivalent experience).
