Are you interested in a health career? The ATP deCal is a 1 unit class that is P/NP on Tuesday nights . We will be teaching students about the physician assistant, physical therapist, and nurse practitioner career fields. We will also have guest speakers from each field to discuss their career and answer questions about their respective career. We will also have students do short assignments to better understand each career field. Not only do we educate students about the career fields, but we also help guide students the requirements needed for these schools. We also provide resources like a 4 year plan template and a school master list that helps students prepare to apply to graduate schools.

There are no exams or papers, just a presentation about a medical topic at the end of the semester. The attendance policy is not strict as long as students communicate early and clearly. We will be reasonable with assignments as well as long as students communicate! This class is supposed to be a casual learning environment where student can find a community of pre-health students!
