A social, cultural, and aesthetic journey through the world's first skyscraper city. Chicago, IL is the birthplace of many American and International architectural masterpieces, ranging from Frank Lloyd Wright's "Robie House" to Studio Gang's "Vista Tower". Additional topics include Native American history and society, Usonian styles and suburbs, city/regional/transportation planning, and contemporary life in the modern Windy City.
Two (2) short midterm projects and one (1) final project.
