This decal aims to teach students about historical and current water activism and discussions surrounding the human right to water. The class will invite several speakers who are professionals in the activism and environmental fields to present in addition to group based discussions on the readings and themes of the course. Since we will talk a lot about nature and water systems, we will spend several classes outdoors exploring the nature of Berkeley, including Strawberry Creek, and offering an optional fun field trip.
