This course is for any student who wants to gain a better understanding of the consulting industry as a whole. We will be covering the basics of what a consulting job entails, industry deep-dives, case and behavioral preparation for consulting-specific interviews, resume workshops, technical skill training, and more. There will also be two expert panels during the semester, one consisting of distinguished Berkeley alumni at various consulting firms, and a second consisting of Berkeley seniors who are going into consulting after graduation. These panels will give students the change to network and interact with the panelists and learn more about the various paths to a job in consulting. The method of instruction will be a mix of lectures, discussions, and partner/group work.
In-person attendance is mandatory for this class, and class will be Tuesdays 6-8PM.
