Consulting - Building Casing and Presentation Skills is a hands-on course designed for students interested in exploring a career in consulting. The curriculum follows a three-module structure: “Case Strategies”, “Consulting Interviews” and “Case Competitions” that will equip participants with the analytical and presentation skills needed to recruit for and work in consulting.
The class starts with an overview of consulting frameworks, followed by two real-world applications: consulting interviews and case competitions. After three weeks of case practice, students will learn how to approach the recruiting season and prepare for the behavioral part of their interview. The course will conclude with the “Case Competitions” module. During these weeks, students will create a final
presentation, allowing them to apply the skills learned throughout the semester and better understand what a career in consulting entails. Expert panels with consultants and case competition winners will add perspective to the course and offer a chance to network with professionals in the industry.
No previous consulting experience is required; however, those with experience may find themselves relearning foundational skills in the beginning of the course.
