The Queer Alliance Resource Center (QARC, pronounced Q-arc) a far-reaching umbrella organization which supports undergraduate and graduate LGBTQ organizations and by proxy the larger LGBTQ community on campus. Our internship program is a leadership development program for students interested in gender, racial justice and community organizing. One of the main aspects is the 2 unit Decal, which is a weekly class meeting from Wednesday, 6pm-8pm. The class will be a space for students to get enthralled in political education, skillsharing, and project development. Another aspect is being paired with one Board Director of QARC, who will act as the main mentor for the development of an intern project and who they will support the individual work of as an intern. Grading for assignments is flexible, accommodations will be given for those in need.
