Welcome to Web Development at Berkeley's Introduction to Full Stack Web Development! In this course we cover the basics of web development, how the internet works, and the frameworks, technologies, and best practices that are used in the industry today while specializing in either frontend/design or backend development. No prior CS experience is required to participate and succeed in this course, but we do acknowledge that we cover a fairly large amount of material and that this course can feel like a lot, even for those with past CS experience.
Every week you will attend 2 online lectures (over zoom for now, but eventually in the Physics 1 classroom), each of which are 1.5 hours long. Each week we will have either a homework assignment or a project due. Course staff will be holding office hours regularly throughout the week in case help is needed. Towards the end of the semester we will create project groups, and students are then expected to meet and communicate with their project groups regularly.
No day(s) left until application deadline!
