Friday 4-6 pm
This class is meant to be a safe space to discuss the impact of societal pressures placed on beauty and practice mindfulness around eating, exercise, and care. Journal entries will be assigned in order to deepen thinking and reflection and marked on submission rather than content. We will strive to create a safe environment in which students will be encouraged to share their personal perspectives at their own comfort levels. The final project at the end of the semester can be any form of creative expression to reclaim unique beauty. Two unexcused absences are allowed.
