This course is intended as an overview of the financial terms and topics you can expect to encounter as you begin your life as a Real Adult™. We'll go over topics like how to approach debt, investing, taxes, and insurance, plus a few forays into some good clean fun like quantitative easing and when you might encounter a 400% interest rate.
There will be a weekly reading and short writing assignment, as well as a slightly longer "project" which will also be a writing assignment. There will be no tests. Attendance will not be kept but I will be very sad if few people show up live.
