The UC Berkeley Undergraduate Graphics Group (UCBUGG) is a passionate group of students who want to introduce our fellow peers to the art of creating a 3D-animated short film. By offering both a basic and advanced curriculum, this DeCal guides students of all skill levels through the animation production pipeline, from Pre-Production, Modeling, Animation, all the way to Rendering. Our course uses Autodesk Maya, Pixar's Renderman, and various Adobe software; we don't require any previous experience in animation or 3D software.
