Current milestones of diabetes research and therapy will be introduced throughout the course. While social aspects will be highlighted, there will be a greater emphasis on the scientific disciplines of biology and pathophysiology encompassing diabetes.
The classes will be taught by guest lecturers from reputable institutions including but not limited to UCSF and Nutritional Science department at Cal.
