Our DeCal explores the intersection of health, business, technology, and entrepreneurship as a preview of the healthcare of our future. Students walk away from this course with a robust understanding of the current healthcare landscape. Beyond that, they gain an introduction to various technologies that are disrupting the current industry. We hope this course encourages students to work in the healthcare industry, and contribute to solving the current crises of the US healthcare system.

This course will primarily be a speaker series, with high profile speakers discussing topics such as 3D printing, medical devices, blockchain, telemedicine, etc. Following these talks, opportunities for questions and networking will be available for interested students. Attendance and short weekly reflections will be required, along with a final project which will give students access to feedback from experts in the field.
