What is making? How do you do it? Why is it important? In this class, we explore a few facets of making and maker culture, teach you the skills to get started, and challenge you with projects that will push your creativity and ingenuity. If you're interested in learning to 3D print, the foundation of visual design, or how to build your own website, this class is for you.
In order to pass the class: Have at most 2 absences. Miss no more than 2 assignments (given weekly and can be completed during class). Submit final "make anything" project.
- 1 hour lecture
- 1 hour hands-on workshop
- 2 hours optional “homework” office hours
