This is an introductory course in logic. Students learn how to identify assumptions and fallacies, describe the structure of arguments, and make inferences. This course concentrates on the “Logical Reasoning” and “Logic Games” sections of the LSAT, applying concepts of logic to LSAT questions to improve accuracy.
This class would consist of a Socratic-style lecture and hands on questions to help the students better learn the material. Quizzes will be held every lecture to review and enforce topics from the previous class. Homework will help students strengthen their skills with regard to the topics covered in the previous class. Attending class will help you learn the material, aid class discussions, and benefit your fellow students. Students are allowed a maximum of 2 unexcused absences.
