Students will get a close look at what branding is and how it works, through the eyes of a designer as the means to explore and learn the subject. Then each of the students will get to come up with a brand concept for a company or business that's imaginary or real. Students will cultivate the skills of conceptualizing and visualizing idea and learn the basic skills of graphic design as the tool to communicate the idea. The emphasis of this class is for the students to learn about branding and graphic design tools for it, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and experience the process.
