The general class structure is that we will have two hours of class meetings per week. The first hour of lecture is teaching about the different concepts of financial mathematics, and the second hours will be used to discuss worksheets prepared by student instructors. There will be an open book quiz for every class.
There will be two exams equally weighted for this course, one midterm and one final, taking up 60 percent in total of the final grade.
Attendance on the days of midterm and final are mandatory. And in-class attendance are highly recommended because quiz scores and homework scores take up 40 percent of the final grade. There are 8 quizzes and 8 homework assignments in total.
