The DeCal Board internship gives students the opportunity to contribute to one of Cal's most beloved traditions. Democratic Education at Cal courses got their roots during the 1960s Free Speech Movement and the program continues to serve thousands of UC Berkeley undergraduates each semester.

As a volunteer intern, you will gain hands on experience working to plan and implement the many projects that sustain the DeCal program every semester, including marketing campaigns, the DeCal Expo, course approval, website development, and facilitator support. You will also have the opportunity to contribute your own ideas for improving our services.

This position leads to the opportunity to serve as a board member and/or director of the DeCal Board, one of the ASUC's 8 chartered programs.
