Interested in learning more about how to engage in fun, sexy, and safe sex? Then Sex 101: Topics in Sexual Health is the course for you!

Here you'll have the opportunity to not only learn about how to have safer sex (birth control options, all about STIs, & more!) but also have a space to learn more about different gender identities, sexualities, and spaces of sex.

The purpose of this course is to broaden your knowledge of human sexual health and foster a community for sex positive discourse across the UC Berkeley campus. This class will cover a variety of topics and provide different perspectives on sexuality and identity. You will learn that sexual health is diverse, fun, and engaging. It will require involvement from every student to make this course incredibly interesting and worthwhile.

There are two class presentations that are required as part of the course assignments along with participation in some of the Sexual Health Education Program (SHEP) events on campus. We also have a course reader and additional materials that you must keep up with as discussions in class will be based off this material. You are expected to be an active and respectful participant in class as this is a discussion focused course.

To enroll in Sex 101 you must fill out the application bellow in full by August 31 at 11:59PM. We will contact accepted students by September 2 and notify them of their acceptance. Due to the expected amount of applicants we will not be contacting students if they are not accepted into the decal, so if you haven't heard from us by Sept 2 we unfortunately will be unable to offer you a spot in our decal.
